New software company · freshly booted

Beep boop. Hello, human.

We’re GoodDev. We teach robots to help write better software. We also build software that helps businesses retire the spreadsheet that secretly runs everything.

Installed modules

Two things we’re very good at.

Module A AI × Dev

Applied AI for software development

We put AI to work inside engineering teams. It plugs into the tools you already use, and people who know the code check its work.

  • Coding agents wired into your repos, reviews and CI
  • Automated test generation and code review that catches the boring bugs
  • Internal dev tools, copilots and LLM-powered workflows
  • Guardrails, evals and humans firmly in the loop
Input
Your repos, tickets and CI
Output
Tested code, faster reviews
Side effects
Fewer 2 a.m. pages. Suspiciously green dashboards.
Module B Software × Business

Applied software for digital business

We turn paper forms, overflowing inboxes and heroic spreadsheets into software your whole team can rely on.

  • Workflow automation for the repetitive work nobody signed up for
  • Custom internal tools, portals and dashboards
  • Integrations that get your systems talking to each other
  • Data pipelines, reporting and a dash of AI where it earns its keep
Input
Spreadsheets, paper, email
Output
Tools your team actually uses
Side effects
Spontaneous free time. Emotional attachment to dashboards.

Operating protocol

How we run.

  1. Listen

Humans talk, robots take notes. We learn how your work really happens, which is rarely what the org chart says.

  2. Prototype

Something clickable in days, not quarters. Cheap to change, easy to throw away.

  3. Ship

Tested, reviewed and monitored. Released on a Tuesday, like civilised machines.

  4. Keep it running

We stick around, keep things tidy and oil the gears before they squeak.

Firmware v1.0

The Three Laws of GoodDev Robotics.

  1. Law 1

A robot may not deploy to production on a Friday afternoon, or, through inaction, allow a human to do so.

  2. Law 2

A robot must obey code review, except where the reviewer typed “LGTM” without reading it.

  3. Law 3

A robot must protect its own uptime, as long as a human still gets the final say.

Got a problem that smells like software?

Tell us about it. We reply faster than a cold boot.
